One half of the design was loaded on to the CNC router from an STL file created in Pro Engineer. The 1st stage on the CNC router is to tell the machine which direction is the cutting plan & how far down the model to cut.
The next stage is to resize the model & correct the orientation if needed.
The machine computes the tooling programme & converts it into a format that the router will understand.
The pathways the router takes on the finishing stage of the progress.
