- Target Market: The target market will be young adults upwards,people that are involved in the sports world or have connections with the London 2012 Olympics.
- Fuction: Speaker to amplify sound from a personal MP3 player. To be used as a promotional item.
- Size: The speaker will have to be small, so it is as portable as an MP3 player.
- Weight: This will be important as cannot be too heavy to be able to be carried around.
- Durability: The product casing will need to be strong, to be able to withstand mild impacts. The batteries will need changing, so will need a accessable point in the casing.
- Aesthetics: The style of the speaker casing will need to reflect the London 2012 Olympics & be sleek & stylish to appeal to my target audience.
- Matericals: Appropriate materials would be wood or 'modelboard', as both of these materials produce a high quality & detailed finish for a prototype.
- Safety: No bare wires. Make sure circuit is safe and working.
- Cost: Requiring a high quality / detailed cost effective product for a 'freebie' I'm using modelboard.
- Manufacture: Is going to be using CAD/CAM. Should be designed to be able to be mass produced.
